Each of the tracks on this album are improvised meditations or "sound-paintings" for solo piano, inspired by a specific artwork.
There is a 16 page booklet included, with wonderful graphic by Viv Hamiltion, showcasing the images used as the starting points for the improvisations. Visual artists include, Valerie Chetelat, Anni Coyne, Kristin Diemer, Jane Osborne, Alison Pouliot, Olivier Sutter.
