Taking place since 2019, the OBZ has already established itself as a meeting platform for musicians and sound artists involved in experimental, improvised and collective music in the city of Zurich. With continuous inspirings visitors from all over the globe who pass by Zurich, offering the opportunity to present joint improvisations on stage in ad hoc constellations. Artists and performers of other art disciplines are very welcome to join and perform at the OBZ.
Hosted by Diego Kohn, the magic of improvisation is intensified in this "Open Stage" event with spontaneously created ad hoc ensembles. Nobody knows who or what will be played. It's a hoot. Special guest this evening is dancer, Andrea Berchtold.

The war in Ukraine has made us aware of how fragile peace is and that we have to work for it again and again. At the same time, our friends, colleagues in Ukraine, Russia and other conflict regions live in a terrible reality.
